*Editing to add, I am now stuck on a level that has been impossible to beat, with the given amount of balls, for about 3 weeks. There is not enough balls, even if every shot is perfect and every colour is the one you need. The level is simply unbeatable without power ups. Id have uninstalled already if my son hadnt pleaded with me not to. No idea why hes so adamant about not deleting the app, he hasnt been able to beat a level himself since the day after we installed the game, because as I and others have mentioned, its not geared to be kid friendly. Bless the people giving rave reviews, they are either new, or genuinely oblivious to the fact the game has been created in a way that forces continual payments out of players if they wish to advance, by making levels impossible to beat because you do not have enough moves to do so for free. I wish zero stars was an option*
The difficulty ramps up fairly quickly, this is not a reasonably easy game that kids can enjoy. As other reviewers have said, the ability to beat a level is often beyond your control, unless you purchase power ups. It is exactly like Candy Crush in so far as every so many levels you will find yourself stuck. You can beat the level eventually, but obviously theyre hoping the arbitrary block will have you reaching for your wallet for boosts. Play in airplane mode, if you cant "earn" rewards for the money they make from you in advertising, dont let them flood you with ads. The game is pleasant to look at, the characters and their unique abilities are nice, but overall its an obvious cash grab, that my 9 year old finds frustrating.
